Natuferm Bright
TO BOOST ESTER AND THIOL PRODUCTION
PURPOSE
Because of its high amino acid concentration, Natuferm® Bright helps yeast release thiols during alcoholic fermentation (aroma precursors). It is excellent for extreme fermentation conditions due to its high ergosterol level, which is essential for yeast cell function.
Natuferm Bright can fix minor, assimilable nitrogen deficiencies and speed up the growth of a large yeast population. It avoids deviations by promoting rapid steady and complete fermentation.
Application
- To improve the thiol aroma, add one dose of Natuferm Bright at yeast inoculation to release thiols.
- To improve the thiols and esters aromas, fractionate the addition of a dose of Natuferm Bright, once at yeast inoculation to release thiols and once at 1/3 of fermentation to produce esters aroma as well.
Oenobrands products are made from yeast derivates selected and dried using exclusive technology. This ensures their great ability to disperse quickly and without forming lumps.
Science and Technology
Two additions of Natuferm Bright, once at the start and once at roughly 1/3 of the alcoholic fermentation, allow for a significant boost in fruitiness. Simultaneously, the amount of linear short-chain fatty acids (C6 to C10), which mask the aroma, is reduced.
In terms of esters production, the fractionated addition of Natuferm Bright results in a wine that is more powerful and aromatic.
When the objective is to boost the thiol release, we suggest adding Natuferm Bright once after the yeast has been inoculated.

Dosage
30-40 g/hL to be added in one or two additions.
Usage
Before use, suspend Natuferm Bright in 10 times its weight in must.
Composition
Natuferm Bright is a 100% Saccharomyces cerevisiae autolysed yeast, high in amino acids, in ergosterol and trace elements.
Packaging
– 1 Kg: hermetically sealed, multilayer laminated bags
– 10 Kg: aluminium bag in cardboard box
Storage
Stored in a cool, dry place (5-15 °C – 41-60 °F).
