TO ENHANCE WINE INTENSITY AND COMPLEXITY

PURPOSE

Natuferm® Intense is a derivate of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast that is naturally rich in amino acids, vitamins, zinc, and magnesium. During fermentation, it allows for the production of wines known for their remarkable intensity and complexity.

Properties

Natuferm Intense enhances aromatic intensity and complexity by liberating large quantities of esters and acetates during alcoholic fermentation. It enriches the wine with ethyl esters, which have stable aromas over time and are synonymous with the preservation of fruit characters in wine.

Natuferm Intense enhances complexity on the palate, as if the wine had been aged on lees and is suitable for barrel fermentation.

Ease-of-use

Oenobrands products are made from yeast derivates selected and dried using exclusive technology. This ensures their great ability to disperse quickly and without forming lumps.

Science and Technology 

Wines fermented with Natuferm Intense are judged to be complex, round, and mature, as if they had been aged on lees.

Wines fermented with Natuferm Intense are richer in aroma compounds than control wines vinified without nutrient addition, contributing to the complexity of the finished wine and giving it greater aromatic longevity.

Natuferm Intense gives red wines more intense aromas, especially turning red fruit towards jammy fruit and less vegetal notes.

Dosage

Dose: 40 g/hL. Add Natuferm Intense to the must, just after yeast inoculation.

Usage

Before use, prepare a suspension of Natuferm Intense in 10 times its weight of water or must.

Composition

Natuferm Intense is a unique blend of 54% inactivated yeast naturally rich in magnesium and zinc and 46% of autolysed yeast.

Packaging

– 1 Kg: hermetically sealed, multilayer laminated bags

– 10 Kg: aluminium bag in cardboard box

Storage

Stored in a cool, dry place (5-15 °C – 41-60 °F).
